Online Therapy for
First Responders & Veterans
For the people who run toward chaos...
this is your place to exhale.
You’re used to showing up for others.
Staying calm when everything around you is falling apart.
Now, you get to have a place where someone shows up for you.

When the job follows you home, you might notice you're...
-
Stuck on high alert. Your shift is over, but your nervous system is still in “go mode.”
-
Struggling with the quiet. You know how to handle chaos when the call comes in, but the silence afterward can feel harder to navigate.
-
More guarded. You’ve noticed yourself becoming more distant, irritable, or shut down with the people you love.
-
Having trouble processing what happened. You’ve spent years learning how to debrief the call, but not necessarily how to process what it left behind.
-
Stuck in work mode. You want to be more present with your partner, children, or family, but aren’t sure how to switch it off or if it even feels safe to.
-
Relying on survival skills you don’t always need. The instincts that help you stay alert, push through, and protect others at work may be creating distance or exhaustion outside of it.
The parts of you that learned how to stay alert, push through, protect others, and keep moving helped you survive.
Now we get curious about whether they still need to be working overtime.
Therapy isn’t about taking away the parts of you that helped you survive. It’s about understanding them, honoring them, and figuring out whether they’re still serving you or if they’re ready for a new assignment.
Therapy with me isn’t about forcing you to relive difficult moments or pushing you to talk before you’re ready. It’s a place to debrief. To make sense of what you’ve experienced and understand why your brain and body respond the way they do.
We’ll work on coming down from high alert, communicating what you need, processing difficult experiences at your pace, and building tools that actually fit your schedule, your lifestyle, and the reality of shift work.
I know this world.
As the daughter of a law enforcement officer and the wife of a detective and former military member, I live this life, too.
You can skip the backstory.
You don’t have to spend half the session explaining the lifestyle before we can actually talk about what’s going on with you.
No translating required.
You don’t have to explain the 10-codes, the shift schedule, the sarcasm, the dark humor, or why “just leave work at work” isn’t always that simple.
Let’s get to what matters.
You don’t have to make your life make sense to me before we can make sense of what it’s doing to you.
